•Preferred File Types
For best print quality, .pdf, .eps, .cdr (up to vX3) or .tif files are
preferred. Other types of files that can be used are .jpg, .ai (up to vCS3),
and Flexi .fs (up to v8.5). It is recomended that a low resolution .jpg be
sent with all orders, so we can make sure all of the elements are visible
and properly placed in files.
•File Preparation
All fonts in files should be converted to outlines, for Corel users the
strokes in the files should also be converted to outlines. PC Signs uses
Adobe 1998 for the RGB working space, and US Web Coated (SWOP) v2 as
the CMYK working space. Please use these settings for your files. If you
are not sure how to do this, please call and someone will assist you.
•Image Sizing
For best results images should be sized to 125 ppi at full size. At 1"=1'
scale, the image resolution would be 1500 ppi.
•FTP Upload
Files up to 15mb can be sent via e-mail. Larger files can be uploaded to
our FTP server by requesting a password using this link: Upload Request
